In technical documentation we specifically state that you should not use two
network cards in a machine running the Elan license manager. For some users
it may work but you increase the risk of an unstable server code leading to
loss of authorisation.

We are using IntelĀ® PRO/100+ Server Adapters in the server. We can team the adaptors togeather in a Adaptive Load Balancing (ALB) setup. This causes both adaptors to function as one. The network sees both adaptors as one adaptor. Does the license manager bind to an adaptor in NT network properties or to the adaptor hardware? djb

I've seen problems with adaptive binding NIC's
before preventing the operation of the license manager. I cannot comment on
what Elan binds to specifically.
