Hello,  Please help.  I ahve tried installing many many times.  I first received an error message

"Error: 1: 5 2: adlmPITSetProductInformation failed. 3: 2" - I then removed all Autodesk products and deleted the .pit file as instructed on this forum.  Seemed like it helped.

Then I got many "Some produicts failed to install" messages simlar to the one attached.  I have tried (as directed per numerous websites):

- uninstalling all Microsoft Visual C++ programs from the Control Panel

- restarting several times

- not changing any of the Suites' settings - just installling what is automaticaly checked and not changing any of those options

- I even downloaded the thumb drive contents onto my desktop and tried installing it from there

Still didn't work...

I pasted in the installation log file below.  Anyone have any more ideas?  I would REALLY appreciate it.  Thanks!

(I have Windows 7 on a Dell laptop - seemed to be doing just fine until today!)

Try unchecking Revit and possibly Sketchbook as part of your install and see if it goes on.  Then you can see if the other two will install separately.  I have seen some problems with the Revit 2013 of late.

Unfortunately, it still did not work.

Tried unchecking Revit and Sketchbook.

Tried downlaiding this C++ version as recommended from an older post:

Still got the failure message.

Is this a USB stick or a download?  If it is from USB, copy the USB contents to a folder on your harddrive and run setup as Administrator.  Make sure UAC and anti-virus are both off. 

Post your new log file.

Sorry, but still having problems.  It is from a USB stick.  I saved it to a folder on my C drive.  I am logged in as administrator.  I turned UAC off, and my anti-virus.  I only installed CAD 2012 and CAD Architect 2012 to avoid Revit and the others - still no go.

Go to your TEMP folder and upload the AutoCAD and Revit Install log files, these will contain more details about why the installs are failing.

First things to try delete everything in the "C:\Users\Kristian\AppData\Local\Temp" and "C:\Windows\Temp" folders. Also check the permission/security settings to the folder "C:\ProgramData\Autodesk" and make sure you have full control. Then try the install again.

Might also try disabling the User Access Control in Windows or setting it to Never Notify (requires a reboot).
