Is there a request code visible? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling? Do you have any other Autodesk products installed on that same machine that you no longer use? Sometimes activations pull in other product information that exists on the computer. Let us know, thanks!

Did you copy-paste the 128D1 product key or typed?
If you paste it you could have a space at the end and causing this red cross.
Here is the product key for 2012 and how we can see 128D1 is the correct product key.
