Autocad trial 2013 for mac last 4 days gets stuck at opening screen

I downloaded a Mac 2013 trial for Autocad. It worked until today, with still 4 days left on the trial. For some reason there is no longer a button "continue with trial". If I force quit Autocad this startup screen remains. (see the attached screenshot). How can I get past this? And use the trial for the remaining four days?

Uninstall AutoCAD for Mac and re-download it from here:

Nope, that did not do it.

I uninstalled, and reinstalled.

Still the same problem.

(and it's exactly where I downloaded the trial the first time)

Can you try to 'reset' the preferences?

To get to the correct Library folder, go here:

I un-installed again and reinstalled again, this time without keeping the preferences. Still the same. I have to restart my computer every time, because AutoCAD keeps running even though I have quitted the program. I cannot find the folder to resent the preferences, the link you sent me is for a newer version (I have 10.6.8). I can find the Library, but not the users folder....

If you are running 10.7 or higher, this applies.  Trust me, there is a User/Library Folder.

Hold Option and Use the “Go” Menu to Show Library

Holding down the Option key will show the “Library” directory as an option in the Finders Go menu. The other nice thing about the Go menu is that after you have accessed ~/Library on multiple occasions, it will start to appear in the “Recent Folders” submenu for easy repeat access."

In fact, if you click on the Go menu, you can click on Option and toggle it on/off to see the folder appear and disappear from the Go menu.

The library folder is easy to find, although it doesn't show up when I go
the the "Go" menu and press the option key. And in the Library that I can
find, I cannot find the preferences...

Do you mean: Library - Application Support - Autodesk - CER -
preference.xml ?
Or is that something totally different?

I don't have 10.8 so the Autocad trial 2014 doesn't run on my computer. Do
you have any other suggestions? Because the trial doesn't run, so I'm
really hesitant to buy Autocad and spend money on a program that doesn't
work.
