Autocad lt 2012 trial version hangs on checking license

I down loaded Autocad 2012 trial and install on my computer but it gets hanged up on "checking license". Any idea how to get around this?

Please try to run AutoCAD LT in diagnostics mode(with license service enabled) or atleast try to disable any Antivirus or firewall softwares.

If you have no other Autodesk software installed, please delete the following files and try again
c:\programdata\flexnet\adskflex*.*
if it doesn't help, please post the following files
c:\programdata\autodesk\adlm\*adlm*.log

I have had the exact same problem, the solutions you suggested does not work. Nor do those file paths exist. Is there another way to those files?
