I am considering converting to Mac from an old pc. I currently run AutoCad lt 2011. Can I install this version on the new iMac, can I download a Mac version of the Lt 2011, can I purchase an upgrade to 2013 in the Mac version or do I have to purchase a new version? This will make a difference in which system I go with for my next computer.

Autodesk does support some Products in a MAC Environment, click here for more details. For the download link, we can provide you one, however note that we do not have a MAC version for AutoCAD LT 2011.

Indeed you can Upgrade your 2011 version and if you prefer the MAC version that's possible as well. Do contact any Reseller from the link, they will assist you with the Upgrade. Just inform them that you want to have the MAC version for your 2013.
