Autocad fails on opening the installer

Hi, I am trying to reinsall Autocad because I have recently changed from Windows 8 to Windows 7 Ultimate (x64) Upon opening the installer, I get a failed connection error. I have opened up all of my http and https ports along with disabling UAC. When I launch the installer, I stay on the page without clicking anything else, yet I am still reciving the error. I would greatly appreciate some help as I have no idea what I am doing wrong.

I would recommend that you try downloading your product using the virtual assistant by following the directions here:

http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to-...

Yes, I solved the problem. First, I was using an incompatible browser. Second, I had to uninstall currently installed versions of visually c++, and had to continue doing so for every Autocad product that I instalked after that. However, there was a better solution that I found, by clicking the arrow on the download button, you can choose,"browser download," this downloads all of the software before hand and from there, the installer no longer fails and you don't have to uninstall visual c++
