If you look at your install log it will usually give you a clue to what the problem is.

 

Most of the installation problems I've had with C3D 2012 is when Design Review tries to install it balks because there is a newer version of the Microsoft C++ 2005 runtime already installed than what Review is trying to lay down.

 

I've run the updated Design Review 2012 hotfix from here: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=17570140&linkID=9338138 then C3D would install without problems.
