Autocad Civil 3D 2009

I had formtted PC & reinstalled Autocad Civil 3D 2009.At the time of rgisteration one message is appearing that Serial No is not Valid.I had used this serail no last two yeares.Now what happend i dont Know.Pls help.

                         Please let me know how to generate Host name & Host ID of the PC.

Your serial number may not be valid for a few reasons.  If your serial is for a network verison and you have installed as stand-alone, then your serial number will be invalid for activation.  You cannot activate a network seat as stand-alone.

You will need to install the NLM and get a new LIC file, if you were hosting your NLM locally.  If it was hosted on another machine, then simply reinstall as a network seat and point the client to the hostname of the NLM server.

You will need to provide your serial number and ethernet ID of the new license server.

If your 2009 was under Subscription and was upgraded to a newer version and your Subscription has expired, then your old serial number will be invalid.  Any upgrade or crossgrade without Subscription will also invalidate your serial number.
