Having problems installing Autodesk Inventor 2012 on a windows vista x64 operating system.  AutoCAD mechanical 2012 installs correctly but inventor is having some problems. I have tried unistalling the programs then installing a hotfix and reinstalling the programs to see if Inventor will work, but it continues to fail.

Any help?

could you please discribe your problem more detail? did you encounter any error dialog when installing Inventor? or failed to install it?

if installer block you to install Inventor, put the mouse on the red circle before Inventor on [select product to install] page, there should be some prompt message for you.
