AutoCad on Citrix

I read the article that says running ACAD over Citrix or Terminal
Services is not legal.

If you are not exceeding licenses, and you are using a central license
manager why it this not legal?

Because the terminal server doesn't pull a license for each user. It only pulls one license no matter how many users connect (at
least the elan version, I don't know about the FlexLM version) and use Autocad.

If you have 10 users on the TS running autocad and only 5 acad licenses the server will keep opening acad sessions as requested, as
it already has a license (it only needs one, additional sessions of autocad don't require a different license on the same "client").

Like I said in the other post, it may be possible to get a waiver for this, contact your reseller.
