Prior to purchasing AUToCADLT 2012 I used their trial 32bit version download (December 2011), worked great. I then purchased ACADLT 2012 as standalone license using the DVD install. Prior to the DVD install, I uninstalled the trial version, using WINXP uninstall software through control panel. On the Online support , there is "How To uninstall AutoCAd previous versions". Following the instructions, delected APP folder references, I then went into the registry and deleted the HK local machine and users entry . Used CCleaner to delete any unreferenced items, and verify AUTOCad "crumbs" were out of the system.
I then installed The Standalone 32bit DVD version, inserting the product and license code, downloaded and performed SP1 update, downloaded and swapped out Ribbon fix items, worked great.... for about 1 week, then when ribbon tried to load, Autocad would disappear from screen . Thinking I had a Licensing conflict issue, it would work powering the machine on and off for a week, I performed the uninstall and install operation 2xs since then. I contacted licensing support, they emailed me back that it wasn't a licensing issue. Searched through discussion groups for similar problems, none found. After @ 6weeks of "usuage", need to fix this, it is distracting me from my consulting business. Help would be greatly appreciated

As aside note, I did some further digginging into the .log files and found fileACDLT2012ENUAdlm.log showing:
3532 2012/02/05 00:13:44 Reason=Fatal error
3532 2012/02/05 00:13:44 ComputerName=MYPIG
3532 2012/02/05 00:13:44 OS=5.1.2600.Service Pack 3
3532 2012/02/05 00:13:44 File=AdlmIntSATSLicense.cpp,Line=2164
3532 2012/02/05 00:13:44 AdlmIntError=17 [The license was not found]
Which mystifies me. This product was purchased from Amazon, which is a Autodesk vendor. The DVD package was sealed, yet I may not have a valid license. Anybody got any clues on who I need to contact to get this straightened out?
Thanks

You might need to blow away your license files and reactivate.
Delete the following files if you have Windows 7:
C:\ProgramData\flexnet\adsk*.data
or on Windows XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\flexnet\adsk*.data
The folders are hidden, so either turn on hidden folders or traverse the folder structure manually in the address bar.
Additionally, if you have a corrupt CascadeInfo.cas file, you might consider deleting it. Usually though this only affects network seats:

After the licensing and activation folks wanted to me to send them a screen shot of the nonexistant Ribbon screen, I again wiped the computer clean of all Autodesk files, as described in previous posts. After a few attempts to register and activate, Ribbon now seems to be working correctly. I then performed then Updated with SP1 and Ribbon Hot fixes, keeping my fingers crossed at this point.
TravisNav, I did delete Flexnet folders prior to new install. Hope this time everything starts correctly. Thanks
