AutoCAD2002, network install, sp1

I have autocad 2002 with a network install (thick) along with the license manager on a win2k server. I wish to install the service pack and the README states to install on the admin (server if i read it right)computer and then the client machines (but if no machines have the client installed, then all i have to do is upgrade the admin/network install point?). This is a brand new install and neither the locked and unlocked version of the service pack applies but the service pack installs to a test machine with the client installed. How am i to proceed on installing the service pack?

As far as I know, the service packs have to me
manually installed at each client machine. I *believe* Autodesk has addressed
this for 2004...
