AutoCAD serial number change

Is there a way to reconfigure AutoCAD 2009 so that the existing serial number is replaced with a new one without having to do a reinstall?

Hi Kirk,

You should be able to do this through the About dialog. Run ABOUT, pick the Product Information button and then the Update button. That will present you with a dialog showing the old serial number and a place to enter the new serial number.

There is no Update button in the About dialog box for AutoCAD 2011. Has it been moved for this release? Can the change be done in the registry?
