AutoCAD in Network

I possess four computers with the Autocad and two licenses for the network. How to forbid a computer to use the AutoCad without removing the product?

What is the operating system on the computer you wish not to run AutoCAD, and why not just uninstall it?

Windows XP Professional. I don't want to uninstall the AutoCAD. Message was edited by: fzdefault

The operating system provides many ways to take away permissions for certain users.
If you create a new user and only give that user "user" rights Acad won't properly launch.
Or it can be as simple as removing the shortcuts in the users desktop and start menu and not telling them acad is installed.

Just some ideas.
It only takes 20 -30 minutes to uninstall and re-install.

You can use the OPTIONS file for the FlexLM software to restrict either the
computers or specific users from starting Autocad on a networked license.

Check out the adskflex.opt FlexLM Options file, specifically the EXCLUDE
statement. It's well documented here:

http://www.macrovision.com/services/support/flexlm/enduser.pdf

I believe that this information may also be included in the network
administrator's guide distributed with your autodesk product. It's
worth the read...
