AutoCAD Student installation error

During my installation of AutoCAD 2014, my computer restarted. Afterwards, the installation wizard wouldn't start up again. So I went into control panel and tried from there, but it claimed that the file had already been uninstalled and removed it from the list of programs. The installation wizard still wouldnt work, so I tried to re-download it from the start from Autodesk again. once the wizard had opened, it claimed that CAD was already on my computer and that I could go to a place in my files to download the English setup, but the files could not be opened. So I went through and deleted every trace of AutoCAD from my computer, including hidden files and repeated the download from scratch. I recieved the same claim that AutoCAD was already installed, and it is still gone from my list of programs in my control panel. I tried to restore my computer to the state it was in before the installation, but my files were not affected by it and the result of the download was no different.

 

How can I fix this?

For all other installation problems consider using the Microsoft Installer Clean Up Utility as a last resort. Please use at your own risk. For more information on this program, please my forum post here and read carefully before using:
