    Hello,

I have installed AutoCAD 2013 and Autodesk Inventor 2013 and when I try to install AutoCAD Mechanical 2013 I get this error:

DirectX Runtime Failed Failure is ignored, Result=1619

    Thanks for your help.

That's not where your problem exists.

Do you already have AutoCAD 2013 installed, by chance?

Yes, I understand that.  What I am trying to find out is if you already have another version of AutoCAD 2013 installed.  I have seen many instances where Mechanical tries to install in the AutoCAD 2013 directory, which fails, if AutoCAD is already installed before trying to install Mechanical.

    Hello Amer,

As this is a pretty general error, I'd suggest taking a look at the following 1603 solutions for potential troubleshooting suggestions!

    Hi,

thanks for the reply, but I have read that already & I believe that it doesn't apply for my case as I don't have any prerequisite that is failing in my log file(like c++ or .NET). It just show activex runtime.  Awaiting your reply. Thanks.

The problem is because you already have a service pack installed from
another version of AutoCAD. My 1603 link explains this.
