AutoCAD Map Upgrade installation?

Hello, we are upgrading AutoCAD Map 3D from 2009 to 2012 and I am wondering what is the correct workflow. We have the network license version. Do I need to update the network license manager in some way before I install the software on workstations, or does it work with the old licensemanager??

The setup of the server should be the same. I would update the server license tools to 11.9.

The link below for the IPv6 are *.exe files, I would create backup the old IPv4 tools after installing and replace them:
