I am unable to install AutoCAD Map 3D 2015 on my computer. I get the following error message:
"A newer version of this software is already installed."
I don't have it already installed on my computer. I am using Windows 8.1 and have only Autodesk Recap, AutoCAD 2015, 3dsMax, and 123d Catch installed currently. What might this be and how can I fix this?
It was the Autodesk BIM 360 AutoCAD add in 64 bit that was preventing a sucessful install. I uninstalled the add in and re-installed it with the Map 3d installation. I have no idea if it is the same add in or if this is eventually going to cause me problems later, but it seems to be working fine for now.
