Purchased a new personal Laptop that has Windows 8. I am attempting to download AutoCAD LT free trial to compare to the full version for my needs. I continue to get an error saying download failed. While downloading the number of items remaining goes down then starts to count up. I don't get an explanation on why download failed just the notice saying download complete and the following downloads failed listing all downloads with a red X.
Firewall turned off? Win8 is on and agressively set by default. Which download method have you tried? Installing from the web is not as good as the browser download option. You can also grab downloads from here too at the Autodesk Customer Service Virtual Agent: 1. Go to http://autodesk.creativevirtual15.com/autodesk/bot.html?isJSEnabled=1&businessArea=Root.Front%20Desk... 2. Select the choice "Download Links". 3. Select your product, then variant, then version as applicable. 4. You should now be presented with the choice to download your software.
