AutoCAD LT 2013 installation issue on a windows 7 - 64 bit computer.

Per the attached screenshot, was initially unable to complete the installation (1st installation attempt).

But on a 2nd installation attempt, was able to successfully complete the installation.

Now trying to open / launch the supposedly already installed AutoCAD LT 2013, but there is no apparent way to open / launch it.

Sounds like you might have a partial install. Use the below steps to clean it off your system and then try the install again.

Load use the microsoft install cleanup fixit tool at the below link

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2438651

1.) Click the "Run now" Button in the Fix-it box
    2.) Accept the License Agreement
3.) Choose the option "Detect Problems and let me select fixes to apply"
    4.) Select "Uninstalling"
5.) When the list of installed programs populates, select the the entry for AutoCAD LT 2013. There may also be an entry for the language pack and if so you will have to repeat this process and remove that as well.
6.) When the tool completes There may be remnants left so please delete the directory where the product was installed which in this case should be C:\Program Files\Autodesk\ AutoCAD LT 2013

Once that is done try your install again.
