AutoCAD 2K and Win2K

I have a system I have installed AutoCAD 2k on which is using Win2k as the OS. Anyone logging on to the network with admin. right AutoCAD start with out giving the following error message. "Failed to update system registry please try using Regedit". The knowledge base talk about this problem but it is for win2k server using Active Directory. This system is on a NT4 network. I have tried to change the security locally but to give the network user full access but that did not solve the problem. Any ideas to correct this would be appericated.

Users on W2K systems must have "Power User or
Administrative" local system privileges.
