AutoCAD 2011 wont launch

I have gone through the process to have AutoCAD 2011 installed on my computer.  When I open AutoCAD 2011 it appears like it is going to open properly, a grey screen appears for a second or so and then all of a sudden the program closes.  I have un-installed the program a few times and re-installed the program and everytime I have the same result.  Has anybody else experienced this problem or have any suggestions on fixing this issue.

Thanks

Could you please provide the log files? You can find them under the following locations:

Windows XP:  C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Autodesk\Adlm

Windows Vista and Windows 7:  C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Adlm

please attach all the files with .log extension.

I am attaching a screen shot of my computer, we can not seem to find the file's that you are looking for.  We our running Windows 7 professional, I don't know if your support desk has a way to log into my computer with my authorization to look for these files or look for something else that my be causing the program not to run.

Uninstall, reinstall of the VCREDIST packages. Usually, it works best to uninstall them in this order

2010 x86

2008x64

2008x86

2005x64

2005x86

Then reinstall in the opposite order:

2005 x86

2005 x64 etc.

You can locate the packages in the 3rdParty\x86 and 3rdParty/x64 VCREDIST folders in the install media or deployment.

installing Microsoft .Net Framework 4.0 resolves the issue your are experiencing.

Also try installing .net framework 4.0 manually, you can do so from the following location: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=16436702&linkID=9240817&CMP=OTC-RSS...
