AutoCAD 2011 64 bit installer

when i open the AutoCAD installer, it pops up with a progress and then almost immediatly pops up with an error message saying "connection failed... aborting installation" even though i have a strong connection.

I assume you are talking about the download progress

Please try to turn of UAC, Antivirus and Firewall. before you download

Got it sorted out now.

I went back an tried again and this time it worked flawlessly.

I guess it just didn't feel like doing it at the time.

I didn't even have to turn off my firewall.
