AutoCAD 2009 update problem

Hello:

I am getting the error "autocad2009lockedsp1.msp is not a valid patch for this product" when attempting to apply the AutoCAD 2009 update to a network deployment build and also the error "The service pack could not be installed because the expected Autodesk product could not be located on your computer" when the computer does have AutoCAD 2009.

Anyone else haveing any problems with this update? Any ideas ?

Thanks;
Nick

If your AutoCAD 2009 is part of any other package, then you will need to get the appropriate Service Pack from that package. Meaning if your ACAD comes from Inventor, Mechanical, Architecture, Revit, etc. then you will need to get the Service Pack from that vertical product.

TravisNave:

That would probably explain it. i will build a new deployment with a non-suite AutoCAD 2009 disc.

Thanks for your help,
