AutoCAD 2008 license transfer

Hi,

I have an AutoCAD LT 2008 Stand Alone license running on a computer.

Now, I am required to format the disk, and re-install AutoCAD LT 2008.

Do I need to reactivate the product? Or, is there any way to transfer the license to a file, and use it with the new installation? Does "Online License Transfer" support AutoCAD LT 2008 product?

you can use PLU

Online Transfer is only for Autocad 2010 onwards

Thanks for your response Hashim. But, how can I use the PLU to transfer if I am formatting the hard disk? Could you please elaborate on the steps please.

if you have access to a second computer you can use this. 

else you can re-activate the product using one of the manual method after formatting the drive
