AutoCAD 2000i on Win2000 Network

Are ther any known speed issues when using AutoCAD 2000i on a Win 2000
Network?

We initially used 2000i on NT4.0 network without any problems but this was
only for a short time.
After upgrading all Workstations to Win 2000pro we have experianced a
degradation in cad file load times. These files have a lot of xref's but the
problem was not apparent in NT 4.0.

Any comments will be appreciated

Thanks

Not as far as I know...
There are some issues with Win2k, such as user rights (User vs. Power user) and network
license management (adesksys.dll), but I don't know of any general speed issues.

My guess (and it's a complete guess) would be name resolution? Do you have dns? Do you
have wins?
You might also check network utilization, see if overall traffic has increased and you
therefore have more collisions?

???
