AutoCAD 2000 - need to move to a new server

We have the old AutoCAD 2000 software version.  We need to move it to a newer

server (for the license manager only), however we cannot locate the disk and

need AutoDesk License Manager to be installed to generate a Key in order to get

a new server code created.

I've been working with Customer Support and they finally verified my license and who we

are but they are referring me to www.autodesk.com/support when I ask were to find or

download a copy of adlm.exe !

Can someone please help??

thank you!

Amy

HI adixon40,

I don't think so, because when I download and install, I get:

'Another version of this product is already installed.

Installation of this version cannot continue.  To

configure or remove the existing version of this product,

use Add/Remove Programs on the Control Panel.'

So, my guess is that this is trying to install the LMTools utility, which we

already run for other software licensing.  The AutoCAD 2000 version

needs the actual ADLM.exe (not LMTOOLS.exe)  to create a

code?

At least that's my guess, and thank you for the reply.
