Answer to why I was unable to return a license early

I have another software package that resides on the same server as the autocad licenses. It shares the same lmtools and is listed in the server/license file tab. Apparently other software packages will interfere with the checkout and return ability. My reseller found this out for me. As soon as I stopped the service for the other software app on the server, I was able to return the license early. Hope this helps anyone in the future who may run into this. Brian

version of FLEXlm did it use?

It is a product called Cadsafe and is made by Document Flow. The version of FLEXlm I'm using is 8.3c
