Alias automotive 2014 in Windows 8.1

I just upgrade sysytem to windows 8.1 and tried install alias automotive 2014

during the starting up and after evaluating license,  the "licensing and activation" page disappear but it seems working in background (seen in taskmanager ) 

how can i fix this?

What type of video card and driver version are you running?  Alias is very graphics extensive.

Model: Microsoft surface pro
Graphics: intel HD4000
Driver version: 10.18.10.3316

Alias works very fine in the original windows 8 on this machine
Problem happened after win 8.1 upgraded
is this a graphic driver issue?

I was talking to the our product support expert on Alias and Windows 8.1 is not supported yet for Alias Automotive.  Check out the URL below for video cards that we have support.

the problem is windows 8.1

uninstall it and go back to windows 8 if you can

Because my company will purchase some Cintiq companions (win8.1)  later in this year

and i think many other car design companies and car design students will also buy,

I hope this issue will be solved soon

It's very pity if we car designers cannot use alias on those awsome drawing machines(surface pro,  cintiq companion and other 'wacom stylus tablets' come later with windows 8.1)

Hello. Windows 8.1 is new and seems to cause some random issues for some users. So far, I have seen some users get software running by uninstalling the product and reinstalling it over Win 8.1. If it does not, rolling back to 8 should work.
