Algor Simulation 2011 Activation Failure

Activiation issues..

 

Upgraded to Algor 2011 from 23.1 and used trial licensing for awhile.

Received a new license for FlexLM to use.  Set it up and appeared to run according to diagnostics.

Started Algor and program displayed activation screen.

Started the activation process using the online option.

Received error code 123 with a failure notification.

Algor fails to start.

 

Any suggestions?

Trial versions are installed as stand-alone license types.  What you need to do is uninstall and then reinstall your product as a network seat, pointing to your FlexLM server.  You cannot activate a network license serial number on a stand-alone install.

Yes it turns out i missed the Configure button during the setup.  The configure button takes you through the license setup. 

 

It was quite time consuming to go back through the installation because ot he miss.  Tech support walked me through and it works now.
