Hi I'm after advice on the process for activating Autocad LT 2008
We've recently replaced our ageing Windows 2000 estate with Vista
The 30 day trial version of AutoCAD LT 2008 has been deployed across the estate
I've got 2 scenarios on the go to activate these deployed instances
The first relates to a user who had previously had Autocad LT 2008 installed on his W2k PC - This machine is now decommissioned & no longer in use - we would like to transfer the licence onto the new Vista PC from the W2k machine. Is this possible and how do we do it
The second is to activate the Trial versions but when the guys try to do this they get the error
Serial Number entered is not valid - Try another - the serial number being used is a default 123-12345678 -
Please advise on process to get a legitimate Serial Number
