Activation: serial number you entered is not valid

I cannot activate my subscription copy of Autodesk Revit Archtiecture 2012. After downloading the software and installing, during activation I get the error "The serial number you entered is not valid. Try again. (1)". The serial number is the one on my subscription page and the one that was successfully used to install the software. I am reinstall this on a new computer a year later from the original install that was on a computer that nolonger exist.

Hi Dan,


Using your email address, I was able to pull up your Contract Number. Under this Contract, your current Registered Product is Autodesk Building Design Suite Premium 2014. You had AutoCAD Revit Architecture Suite for your 2012 version and below before it was migrated to Autodesk Building Design Suite Premium.


If you want to use and install AutoCAD Revit Architecture Suite 2012, you need to submit a Previous Version request.

I am having a similar problem.  I am trying to reinstall Autodesk Building Design Suite 2013 on my work computer.  It was working perfectly fine before, but when I tried to reinstall, it now tells me 'The serial number you entered is not valid.'  It was valid before the reinstall.  Please help.
