Activation error - Maya 2011

We have 24 seats tied to a single key, have tried both Maya 2011 and Maya 2011 SP1.

Windows 7 Pro 64bit in AD domain environment

windows firewall is disabled

network firewall set to allow any requests from LAN to get to internet.

Have tried on 4 different PC's so far, all fail to activate, we have verified our serial # with our reseller.

Using the license activation utility in Maya 2011 that comes up at startup, the activation fails with error code 41. Have also tried the license transfer utility which requires me to sign in to the autodesk subscription center, but it also fails with error code 41. The only seat I have been able to get working is our single network floating license which is on a different serial number and obviously the .lic file was emailed to us by our reseller fully activated.
