Installation & Licensing

Hey all,

I while back I bought the Autodesk Education Suite for Entertainment Creation 2011. I installed the Maya 2011 from this onto my mac. I then upgraded and got Autodesk Maya 2011 Student version to Commercial. Again Had no issues installing and activating.

The problem is that I am wanting to learn 3DS Max and other programs that came in the Entertainment Creation Suite. Since I have taken it off my Mac and want to install it onto my Laptop (Windows) I feel that this would then be classed as my main computer for the Autodesk Education Suite. SO the problem at hand is that I can not activate it. I assume this is because I activated it on the Mac. Is there a way of puting 3DS Max etc onto my laptop? Any help would be great as I did not know where to get help from.

My other thought is since half of the programs in the Autodesk Education Suite will not work on a mac surely you have to be able to put at least those onto a pc? Hence my confusion?

Thank you for any help given. I don't quite know what to do as I am now stuck.

You never state what error you are getting on attempting to activate - you can activate on two machines.

Sorry for not putting the error code. I get a nice variaty. Here are the error code I get.

This is the one I get when trying to activate it with the serial number. I get this after clicking  Connect now to activate.

Can you please send me your serial number via private message (click on that envelope next to your user name up there) so I can have a look at that error?
