Activation / Deactivation - how do I do deactivate?

Hello,
How do I "deactivate" a student version of 32-bit Maya 2011 to reactivate it on a different computer?   Windows.  Replacing my laptop.

Thanks,

Ben Rush

Hi Ben,

You can use the Online License Transfer Utility to move your license.

Here is a link to the tutorial on using the Online License Transfer Utilty:

Hello,

Have tried exporting license from my last machine and it errors (36):

Export Request Failed.  Maximum number of exports for this serial number has been reached.  You may not export more licenses than you have purchased.

Likewise I cannot activate a license- it errors (10):

Activation Limit Reached.  You have already activated your product on the maximum number of computers permitted by your license.

As far as I can tell I have no licenses activated, except for the one machine whose license I'm unable to export.

Thanks for the help.

Ben Rush

Then simply uninstall the sofware and get a new activation code on the new system by calling Autodesk Activations at 1-800-551-1490, choosing #1 for English and #1 for stand-alone license.
