how long does it take for the activation email to be sent to the account I provided?

You should receive the email fairly quickly after you complete the registration. However, I did check your Education Community account and found that it had not been activated yet. It's possible your activation got "stuck" somehow.

Your account should not be activated and you should receive that email. If you have any other questions or you don't get the email please let me know.

it still hasn't come through! i don't know why!

unfortunately i think its because my email should be kevin.o'connor.13@ucl.ac.uk instead of kevin.oconnor.13@ucl.ac.uk which i had to insert as the account info won't allow me to stick in the apostrophe. should i just change my email to the gmail email i have or do u need my ucl email to verify my student status? i also need to ask...this software ok to use on a mac?
