We recently upated some of our AutoCad clients to 2000 from rev. 14 and now
the NetWare 5 server loses the license for both rev 14 & 2000. The ADLM
loads fine on the server, but when you try to access the license nothing
happens. The only way to get it to work is to reboot the server. Is this a
NEW problem with the Autocad 2000 license. We weren't having this problem
until the 2000 license was installed.
Any help is appreciated,

We are looking at upgrading R14.01 to Acad2K. We have two seperate
groups at this location. I want to upgrade my group to 2k and leave the
other group on R14.01. Can this be done on the same server? Possibly
installing software into seperate network drives?

I did read in an earlier message that you can actually run both versions using
the same adlm licensing software. Can anyone else verify this?

Hello Greg,
Yes you can do it. You have one code for the 14.01 group and another for the A2k
group
running both the same adlm on the server.

I would suggest that you update to the Elan version on the AutoCAD 2000 CD though,
it has a few small changes over what R14.01 had. Not a lot, but it could come in
handy.
Take care.
