ADLM on Win2000 and clients

Our company had the NT 4 server hosting the ADLM software crash today and I am faced with having to reinstall ADLM onto a WIn 2000 workstation to distribute licenses to the clients. I realize that I will have to call Autodesk to re-license ADLM, but what about the client installs of AutoCAD. What do I need to do on those workstations in order for them to see the new ADLM server?

Hi,

you must change in the licpath.lic the name of the server. (With Notepad)
You will find this file in the directory where is installed AutoCAD.

Depending on your version of the product, there are a few solutions for you. You can either modify the LICPATH.LIC file in the root of your application folder to point to the new server, or add the ADSKFLEX_LICENSE_FILE environment system variable to point to the new server. The application might even ask you to provide the location, like Inventor, for example.

What version of the ADLM and Autodesk software are you using?
