I know we can install and run ADLM on a virtual server, but I am unclear when obtaining the license file if we are to use the virtual MAC address or the physical MAC address.

Typically, I have noticed that you should use the actual nic card and not the virtual nic card. The best answer is to use the actual ethernet value that will show up in lmtool.exe.
