This person is running AutoCAD 2000. The advice you offer is valid for
AutoCAD 2002 but not AutoCAD 2000.
As I understand the original posting the current server is running NT4 and
that same server is scheduled to be upgrades to Windows 2000. If this is
the case, the answer is that the current authorization may become invalid.
Prior to upgrading your operating system save your license file(s) (for
AutoCAD 2000 it is 150.lic) somewhere it will not be destroyed or lost in
the upgrade process. Next, run AdLM Admin to display your current server
code and record it.
After you finish installing W2K, install AdLM and run AdLM Admin and compare
the server code displayed to the one you recorded above. If there was no
change you can restore the old license file and go. If the server code
changed you will need to reauthorize.
