I recently installed the ADLM and am getting ready to switch all of our
users over, but before I do I need create the resource file. I got the
documentation from Autodesks's website and it seems prety straight forward.
I have one question, that I hope someone can help me with. I will have
about 60 users sharing 55 licenses. What I need to do is gaurentee about 20
of the users a license at all times. The only way I see to do this is to
use a very high default hold time. Can anyone help me out??
    Please use plain text.

    Andrew,

The default hold time parameter setting does not effect how many licenses
are always available for a given list of users. If you want to assure that
20 people will always get a license, create a feature specific statement
holding 20 seats for the 20 users. No one else will be able to use those
    seats.

Good Afternnon All, (Atleast it is here)

Sorry for repling to a pretty old post and sorry if this was already
discussed else where but like I said I am new to this group.

I look at the link below and it seems to discuss how a resource file works
with NT but how do I apply this to Novel? I assume it is similar except for
steps 4 thru 6 in the section marked Resource File Implementation and
    Administration.

    Thanks for any help.
    Later,
    John...
