The error, “Unable to load profile file. Some profile information saved in last session may not be restored”, may be resolved by initiating secondary installer for ACAD MEP 2011

To initiate AutoCAD MEP 2011 secondary installer, follow steps below:

1.Rename following folders.

Windows XP:

C:\Documents and Settings\your_user_name\Application Data\Autodesk\MEP 2011

C:\Documents and Settings\your_user_name\Local Settings\Application Data\Autodesk\MEP 2011

Windows Vista or 7

C:\Users\assist\AppData\Local\Autodesk\MEP 2011\enu\

C:\Users\assist\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\MEP 2011\enu\

2.Open Registry: Start > Run > type regedit in the open dialog box and click OK.

3.Export (back up) following key as reg file: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R18.1\ACAD-9006:409

4.Then delete the key, HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R18.1\ACAD-9006:409, in registry.

Start AutoCAD MEP 2011 and do not migrate custom settings.
