ACAD 14 and Windows 2000 Server network

I have a huge client that was running a network with Windows NT 4.0, and we upgraded their server to 2 Windows 2000 Servers, and now the people that use AutoCAD drawings get Unhandled exception errors, and errors that start with ! and reference network drives. The network drive mappings are IDENTICAL, and nothing has changed with the client computers. There are 3 client computers, 2 running Windows XP, one running Windows 98.

Everything was fine until the server upgrade. All of the users have full rights to the drives containing the drawings, and even making the users part of the Administrators group doesn't help.

What's happening???????????

Hi,

what AutoCAD version? Client or Server heavy installation? Did you upgrade
the servers by "Upgrading" the OS or by reformatting and then installing the
new OS? If former and Server Heavy, did you redo the Serverinstallation and
the clients?

More after this info...

Cheers,

Still,

are you at all using Network version or just having problems with Server
access with files?

Is it a R14.01? IMHO it must be because the "original" R14 can't handle
W2K Servers or Workstations.
've you replaced the adesksys.dll?
It's strange, but at some of our costumers it solved any w2K related
Problem.

We installed totally new servers and AutoCAD is installed locally on 4 computers. Nothing having to do with the AutoCAD program is on the server, just drawings. We even replaced every component on the server, and it's still happening.
