    A2Ki, A2ki Mechanical, MDT 5

    I have two copies of MDT 5 running TCP/IP(feature codes #272 and #273). I
want to add 1 each, floating license of A2Ki vanilla and A2Ki Mechanical.
We have deployed MDT 5 such that all files reside on the client PC.

The question is can I just add the licenses and use the icons created by
MDT(for vanilla and mechanical)- - the simple, logical way. -OR- do I have
to deploy twice more on each users PC. All of our users use all three
flavors of Acad depending of what types of projects they are working on at
    any moment.

    Thanks

    Mark,

AutoCAD 2000i based products each pull a unique license so you will need to
    deploy separately for each.

    Bummer,

Seems like MOST design groups would want to purchase the number of seats
required for the degree of 2D and 3D work that they do... This should be
the strength of a MDT /AcadM / Acad environment.

Having three deployments is three times as much- - work, hassle, hard drive
    space, etc.

    Thanks for your reply...
