-5.412.0 error & softlock license manager issues with Infrastructure Design

Hello,

A user installed networked versions of the Autodesk Infratructure Design 2012 and is able to open thier 2011 products but not the 2012 products.

They get these two dialog boxes saying:

A valid license could not be obtained by the network license manager. If you are unable to access a license, contact your system administrator. Error [-5.412.0]

And another:

The security system (softlock license manager) is not functioning or is improperly installed.

Since 2011 works, these two links about the FLEXnet\adskflex_*.data doesn't seem to hold true.

Let me know what I need to recommend the user do to resolve this issue.

I am waiting on them sending me thier licensr file to look at and see if it has issues.

-5 Error means that there is no license type for that product on the server.  Are you sure that you have added the 2012 license to the NLM server and that the servers shows available licenses for that product? 

You can get your new license file from Autodesk by calling 1-800-551-1490.
