3dsmax 2011 application error

Hi, I had owned max 2011 for months now until two days ago the program stopped working. Everytime i try to open a file or by short cut it won't open at all just an error message. It was working fine a few days ago. I tried to look for help online; I tried reinstalling, updating service packs, i kept the max files to my system deleted and back again, and  started  running as administrator to name a few but still get the same error.

I tried but i don't know what to do. I feel like I'm making it worse. Please help me.Thank you.

My Computer info::

windows vista 2007

service pack 2

Processor: Intel Core Duo @ 1.83GHz

RAM: 3.0 GB

32 bit

129 GB free out of 231GB

The error looks like this::

Hi rinkuchan;

   Most likely there is something that has changed on the system since the time it was working, anything new installed or updated including other software packages?

   Unfortunately, the error itself doesn't show anything overly helpful. There's a couple things you can try to see if it helps

1. Create a new user on the system and log in as that user to see if it's a problem with your user account. If it is you can reset your prefs by renaming the ini file. The link below will help with that

http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=14095997&linkID=9241177

2. Try resetting your licensing, this may require that you re-activate depending on how you are licensed

http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=15890817&linkID=9241177

3. Try doing a full 'clean unininstall' and re-install

http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=11028514&linkID=9241177

4. Most likely not the issue but you can try to remove and re-install the video card drivers to the latest version.

Try doing a system restore back to when it did work.
