3ds max wont open

I've just installed 3ds max 2014

But when I click it it just says initializing 3ds max...

And then nothing happens, I haven't even gotten to the registring part.

it just stuck there.

Welcome to Autodesk discussion group.

You stuck at initializing when start 3ds max, there are some possible reasons for such type of issue. So could you please try to right- click shortcut and run it as administrator or create another user, login the system and try to start, see if works for you?

Hello and welcome to the forums.

 

We have seen similar issues with other Autodesk products on the system that has an Integrated video card and also Nvidia GeForce family card.

 

If you happen to have two video cards, please try right clicking on the 3ds Max 2014 desktop shortcut and launch the program with Integrated Card.  If 3ds Max 2014 opens, then close it and try the same with Nvidia card.
