3ds Max 2012 wont open - 0cx000007b error

I’m a student and downloaded a student copy of 3ds Max 2012 this weekend, I have windows 7 on 64bit and for some reason even though the install went well when i try to run the program is displays a 0cx000007b error. I tried searching online for available solutions and tried all the suggestions but nothing worked. I re-installed the software, cleaned the registry files, updates graphics drivers and windows and even checked for viruses and still it shows that error.

Before this though i had a 32bit version of 3ds max 2011 and that worked and still works perfectly fine (i did uninstall it before installing 2012 so it wouldnt be thats causing problems)

I tried running the program from Change Graphics Mode aswel and get the same error. Could someone please help?

Can you check you video card and see if it's certified?

I Tried that link and i keep gettin the message "No cards have been found for your selections."

My graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M and 3ds max 2011 works fine on it, i also updated it just few days ago so i have the latest drivers and everything.
