3Ds Max Fails install

everything else that comes with it installs fine but Max itself fails , i have tried installing in msconfig mode  but still fails

i also get an error message during instal that backburner did not install but everything continues through

Hi,

Please locate the install logs in the TEMP directory, accessed by typing '%temp%' in the START > RUN (for Windows OS). You can zip the install logs and attach them. Otherwise, please include a screenshot of the error you are seeing.

all the files i found form one day install... i think

Hi,

Thanks for uploading the logs. From the Setup.log, it looks like the .NET 3.5 SP1 failed to install. You can browse out to the .NET folder in the Support folder and manually install .NET 3.5.

If the install of this package fails, try to enable the Windows Installer verbose logging:

Then when .NET 3.5 SP1 is successfully on the system, you can try the Backburner install also launching it manually or from the setup.exe.

Thanks that helped.end the end i still had to go insided the autodisk x64 foulder and install from there but its up how

i also face an eror i cannot install the back burner and then everything stops i am attaching the log file

Failure in the installation!!!
I have tried repeatedly to install the free 3ds max 2012 for students, following advice from various forums without success.I need to directly use the program for a school assignment.
(Could you please help me?)
